The Viewpoints: Expressive Movement, Improvisation and Creative Collaboration for Opera Singers
Western opera requires singers to act while singing. Their expressiveness and stage presence can be greatly enhanced by increasing their body awareness.
This is a movement-based workshop for opera singers of all levels based on The Viewpoints, developed by Anne Bogart’s SITI Company in New York. Participants will explore aspects of time, space and movement to expand their physical imaginations and enhance their stage presence.
